Nippatu is a native name given to spicy circled crispy rice crackers in Karnataka. Roasted gram and peanuts give a nice flavour and crunch to nippattu. Butter is used amply. They are made during almost all the festivals. It can stay up to 30 days when properly stored and relished. The use of peanut, fried gram and sesame seeds in nippattu makes them aromatic and tastes delicious.
